✅ Quick answer
23 table rows · 20 DStv package and tier records for the 5 November 2026 launch · 0 new transponder sports rows in the November 3–4 bulletins · 0 new official BISS keys.
Read this edition honestly: the transponder bulletins for November 3–4 are quiet, and this article does not dress them up. SatBeams' 3 November bulletin contains a single row, and it is not sports. KingOfSat's Wednesday 4 November section was empty at check time. The real sports news in this window is on the package side: DStv launches a new four-package structure on 5 November 2026 in Malawi, Nigeria and Kenya, with a dedicated Sports tier in each market and several named channel moves. Prices are market-specific — a Malawi price is not a Nigeria price — so every row below names its market.
Malawi: the official launch, tier by tier
DStv Malawi's announcement, dated 27 October 2026, is the most complete source in this window. Four packages launch on 5 November 2026, and existing customers move automatically on that date: Access to Starter, Family to Select, Compact to Sports, and Compact Plus and Premium to Ultimate. No decoder return or reinstallation is required, and billing continues on the existing cycle. The sports story inside the reshuffle is a set of named moves, not a vague promise of "more sport". SuperSport KICKOFF is new to Starter. SuperSport LaLiga moves from Family to Starter. SuperSport PSL moves from Compact to Select. The Premier League Match of the Week moves from Compact to Starter. Champions League coverage is split by tier: Starter receives two UEFA Champions League matches plus selected matches through SuperSport KICKOFF, while Sports and Ultimate carry Champions League football in full.
| Channel / Tier | Market | Status | Package | Details / Access |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SuperSport KICKOFF | Malawi | NEW to Starter | Starter, from 5 Nov 2026 | Selected Premier League, Champions League, LaLiga, BetPawa GPL, NPFL, CAF and WWE content |
| SuperSport LaLiga | Malawi | Moves: Family to Starter | Starter (also Sports, Ultimate) | LaLiga channel now on the entry tier; still included higher up |
| SuperSport PSL | Malawi | Moves: Compact to Select | Select (also Sports, Ultimate) | South African Premiership channel drops one tier |
| Premier League Match of the Week | Malawi | Moves: Compact to Starter | Starter | One featured Premier League match per week on the entry tier |
| UEFA Champions League | Malawi | Split by tier | Starter: 2 matches + KICKOFF selection; Sports, Ultimate: full | Starter gets a taste, not the whole competition — check the tier before assuming a match is included |
| Sports tier | Malawi | NEW dedicated tier | 131+ channels, MWK 60,000 per month | Premier League, Champions League, LaLiga, WWE, golf, tennis, motorsport and other SuperSport channels; old Compact customers move here automatically |
| Ultimate tier | Malawi | Top tier | 145+ channels, MWK 106,000 per month | Full SuperSport lineup plus premium entertainment; old Compact Plus and Premium customers move here |
| Starter tier | Malawi | Entry tier | 57+ channels, MWK 15,000 per month | Old Access customers move here; sports built around KICKOFF, LaLiga and the Match of the Week |
| Select tier | Malawi | Mid tier | 115+ channels, MWK 25,000 per month | Old Family customers move here; adds SuperSport PSL and a wide entertainment lineup |
Nigeria and Kenya: same launch date, different prices
Nigeria's four packages also launch on 5 November 2026, with migration in phases from that date and no new decoder or app required: Starter at NGN 6,000, Select at NGN 11,000, Sports at NGN 21,000 and Premium at NGN 44,500 per month. The Nigeria Sports tier carries every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match, plus UFC, athletics and other events, across 14 dedicated sports channels — including SuperSport Action, SuperSport Events, SuperSport Extra and ESPN 2, each listed separately below so the count is checkable. Premium keeps the complete offering, including Formula 1, MotoGP, cricket, tennis and golf. On the cheaper Starter tier, selected Premier League and LaLiga matches arrive through SuperSport KICKOFF.
Kenya follows the same 5 November date with its own prices: Beginner at KSh 750, Select at KSh 1,500, Sports at KSh 3,000 and Ultimate at KSh 7,300 per month. Kenya's Sports tier, at 159+ channels, carries every Premier League match — all 380 per season — plus the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, WWE and UFC, and replaces the old Compact tier. Kenya also gets a genuinely new channel: SuperSport Swahili, a 24-hour Swahili sports channel launching 5 November 2026 on Sports and Ultimate. Note carefully: SuperSport Swahili is a Kenya launch in the sources checked for this edition — it is not mentioned in the Malawi announcement, so do not expect it on the Malawi lineup from this article alone.

| Other Kenya tiers | Kenya | NEW structure | Beginner KSh 750; Select KSh 1,500; Ultimate KSh 7,300 | Six plans cut to four on 5 Nov 2026; Ultimate adds Formula 1, MotoGP, cricket and Grand Slam tennis |
A package move is not a new channel
That distinction is the practical lesson of this edition. When SuperSport LaLiga "moves from Family to Starter", no new satellite frequency appears and no receiver rescan is needed — the channel simply becomes available on a cheaper tier, and a subscriber who already receives it sees no change on screen. The same applies to SuperSport PSL dropping to Select and the Match of the Week dropping to Starter: these are billing and entitlement changes, not transponder changes. The only genuinely new channel in this edition is SuperSport Swahili in Kenya, and even that is a package launch, not a new frequency listing — DStv's satellite delivery does not change because a tier boundary moves.
Three checks save the most confusion. First, match the price to the market: Malawi's Sports tier at MWK 60,000, Nigeria's at NGN 21,000 and Kenya's at KSh 3,000 are three different currencies and three different channel counts, and none of them converts into the others. Second, read "selected" literally: Starter's KICKOFF selection and its two Champions League matches are a sample of the competitions, not the full fixture list — only the Sports tier and above carry every match in Nigeria and Kenya. Third, do not import another country's extras: South Africa's streaming-only Sports price and its bill-splitting feature are separate South African developments with no confirmed launch date in Nigeria, and they are not part of the 5 November package rows above.
Bulletin audit: what November 3–4 actually showed
For the record, and so no reader has to take the "quiet bulletin" claim on trust, here is the audit. SatBeams' transponder news for 3 November 2026, published 2026-11-03T00:17:12Z, contains one row: Bolivia TV updated on Intelsat 35e at 34°W, 11079 V. That is not a sports service, so it is not counted as a sports record. KingOfSat's Wednesday 4 November 2026 section was empty when crawled at 07:30 UTC on 4 November, and its Tuesday 3 November section contains no new sports row — the one sports move there, Motowizja TV HD's new frequency, was already carried in yesterday's sports post and is repeated below only as the latest standing transponder sports move, clearly marked as a recap. LyngSat has no dated daily sports bulletin for this window. No SatBeams 4 November bulletin had appeared at check time; if one appears later in the day, it belongs in tomorrow's edition, not backdated into this one.
| Channel / Feed | Satellite | Status | Frequency | Parameters / Access |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Motowizja TV HD | Hot Bird 13G, 13°E | RECAP — new frequency, already in Nov 3 post | 11487.60 H, 27500, 5/6 | HD, SID 5122, V361 / A384 Polish, Conax / Irdeto 2 / Nagravision 3 / Viaccess 3.0 — motorsport |
| Bolivia TV | Intelsat 35e, 34°W | Updated — not sports | 11079 V, 10000, 3/4 | SD, MPEG-4, V523 / A524 Spanish, FTA — the only row in the SatBeams 3-Nov bulletin; listed here for audit completeness only |
| KingOfSat, 4 Nov section | All satellites | Empty at check time | — | No new sports row had been posted in the Wednesday 4 November section when crawled at 07:30 UTC on 4 November 2026 |
What to do on 5 November
If you are a DStv subscriber in Malawi, Nigeria or Kenya, check your package name in the MyDStv app or on the official DStv website on 5 November — the migration is automatic in Malawi and phased in Nigeria, so your on-screen package name may change even though your decoder does not. If a channel you expect is missing after the move, confirm the tier first: the most likely cause is a tier boundary, not a signal fault, and a rescan will not restore a channel that your new tier does not include. If you follow Motowizja TV HD, it remains on Hot Bird 13G at 11487.60 H from the recap above. No new BISS key is published in this edition, and no key is needed for any row in it: the DStv rows are subscription tiers, and the transponder recap is an encrypted multi-CAS service under its own operators.
Frequently asked questions
Is DStv Sports a new satellite channel?
No. In this launch, "Sports" is a package tier, not a channel and not a new frequency. It groups existing SuperSport and ESPN channels at a sports-focused price. Your dish and transponder settings do not change.
Do I need a new decoder or a rescan for the 5 November changes?
No, according to the announcements checked here: Malawi states no decoder return or reinstallation is required, and Nigeria states no new decoder or app is needed. If a channel is missing after 5 November, check your new tier first before rescanning.
Does Starter include every Premier League match?
No. Starter includes selected matches through SuperSport KICKOFF, plus the Match of the Week in Malawi. Every Premier League match requires the Sports tier or above in Nigeria and Kenya.
Is SuperSport Swahili available in Malawi?
Not according to the sources checked for this edition. SuperSport Swahili is a Kenya launch on Sports and Ultimate from 5 November 2026; the Malawi announcement does not mention it.
Why does this edition list no new frequency?
Because the November 3–4 bulletins contain none for sports: SatBeams' 3 November bulletin has only Bolivia TV, and KingOfSat's 4 November section was empty at check time. Listing an old frequency as new would mislead readers, so this edition reports the quiet bulletin plainly.
Are any BISS keys published here?
No. No new official BISS key was issued in this window, and this article publishes no key material of any kind.
