Global Satellite Channels November 4, 2026: World Digest
34 verified world changes for Nov 4, 2026: Al Jazeera rebrands on Es'hail and 8 West, Sky swaps Halloween for Christmas, Polish moves on Hot Bird.
Welcome to the Global Satellite Channels digest for November 4, 2026. It covers the verified channel changes dated November 3, 2026 on KingOfSat, organised by world region instead of by source. The headline is not a wave of new free channels. It is a wave of renames and seasonal swaps: Al Jazeera retires its old 2 and Mubasher names on Es'hail and Eutelsat 8 West B, Sky retires its Halloween names on Astra 28.2 degrees East, and three Polish channels move together to a new Hot Bird frequency.
Overlap, stated plainly: today's 8:00 AM BISS post already tabled the 18 Middle East and North Africa departures, and today's 9:30 AM frequency post already tabled the 16 Europe records. This digest does not claim to have discovered those records first. What it adds is the complete 34-record set in one place, by region, plus the SID-swap reading below that explains why so many "left" rows are not really disappearances.
Headline summary: Al Jazeera drops eight old-name services across Es'hail 25.5 degrees East and 8 West; Sky drops six services on Astra 28.2 degrees East including Sky Halloween HD and Sky Animation HD; Sky Cinema Feelgood replaces Sky Cinema Spooky Halloween HD on the same service ID on Astra 1P; 5 Drama replaces 5 Select on the same service ID on Telstar 12 Vantage; and Motowizja TV HD, TVP ABC and TVP Historia move together to Hot Bird 11487.60 MHz.
Evergreen guide: "left" does not always mean gone - read the SID
KingOfSat's Monday, November 2 section has grown since yesterday, and that growth is the key to today's tables. On Monday it listed new Al Jazeera Now and Live services on exactly the service IDs (SIDs) that Tuesday lists as departed Al Jazeera 2 and Mubasher services: SID 10102 and 10103 on Es'hail 11045.90 MHz, SID 10502 and 10505 on Es'hail 11604.20 MHz, SID 402 and 403 on 8 West 10971.30 MHz, and SID 502 and 503 on 8 West 12521.50 MHz. The same pattern holds on Astra 28.2 degrees East: Monday listed returns on SID 2110, 2112, 3817, 6020, 6033 and 51092, and Tuesday lists departures on those same six SIDs under the old names. Three further swaps share one SID each: Sky Cinema Feelgood over Sky Cinema Spooky Halloween HD (SID 139), Viasat Kino over TV 1000 Balkan (SID 121), and 5 Drama over 5 Select (SID 20256).
Practical rule: when a channel "leaves" but a new name appears on the same transponder with the same SID, treat it as a rename until a rescan proves otherwise. Delete the old entry, rescan that single transponder, and look for the new name. Do not run a blind scan first - it often re-adds the stale entry alongside the new one. This article presents the SID matches as a pattern in KingOfSat's own listings, not as a confirmed announcement from any operator.

Europe in one line: Halloween ends, Christmas takes its slots on 28.2 degrees East, and the only genuinely new frequency move is the Polish trio on Hot Bird. Every other Europe row is a departure or a same-SID swap, and every Europe row is subscription-encrypted - there is no new free-to-air Europe channel in this set.

The 7 West clear-out is the only part of this set with no matching new name on the same SID in KingOfSat's listings: eight services leave four transponders (10891.80, 11334.30, 11372.70 and 11257.60 MHz) with no same-day replacement listed. Viewers on 7 West should rescan those transponders and expect empty slots, not a renamed channel. The Al Jazeera rows, by contrast, are a rebrand in all but name: the slots stay, the names change.
What this means for viewers in Pakistan and Asia
- Do not chase this set on a Pakistan dish. All 34 records are Europe, Middle East and North Africa beams at 28.2 degrees East through 15 degrees West. None is a new Asia-beam free channel.
- If you also watch 7 West or 8 West: update Al Jazeera to the Now and Live names, and delete the eight departed 7 West entries so they do not sit as dead channels in your list.
- If you watch Hot Bird: move Motowizja TV HD, TVP ABC and TVP Historia to 11487.60 MHz, horizontal, SR 27500, FEC 5/6 - all three moved together, so one transponder scan covers all three.
- Seasonal viewers: Halloween channels ending in early November is normal. Do not pay anyone to "restore" Sky Halloween HD or Sky Cinema Spooky Halloween HD - they were seasonal slots, and their SIDs now carry Feelgood and the Christmas-season names.
How to rescan after today's changes
- Scan one transponder, not the whole satellite. Enter the frequency, polarisation, symbol rate and FEC exactly as listed, then scan that transponder only.
- Delete the old entry first for same-SID swaps. Sky Cinema Spooky Halloween HD, TV 1000 Balkan, 5 Select and the old Al Jazeera names all need the stale entry deleted before the new name appears.
- After a package refresh, delete the whole old package. Editing re-listed entries one by one leaves silent twins behind.
- Check the beam before buying anything. A channel on 28.2 degrees East or 7 degrees West will not appear on a dish pointed at 38.2 degrees East or 52 degrees East.
- Encrypted means encrypted. VideoGuard, Conax, Nagravision and DVB Scrambling rows need a valid subscription - no key in this article unlocks them, and no key is published here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Has Al Jazeera closed its channels?
No - on KingOfSat's listings, the old Al Jazeera 2 and Mubasher names leave while Al Jazeera Now and Live names occupy the same SIDs on the same transponders. That is a rebrand pattern, not a closure. Rescan the four Es'hail and 8 West transponders listed above and look for the Now and Live names.
Why did Sky Halloween HD disappear?
It was a seasonal channel. Halloween slots end in early November every year, and their SIDs are reused for the next season - in this set, Sky Cinema Feelgood takes SID 139, and the 28.2 degrees East SIDs match the Christmas-season returns listed on November 2.
Are there any new free-to-air channels in this update?
No new free-to-air television channel is in this 34-record set. The new and moved rows are subscription-encrypted, and the bulk of the set is departures. Asia viewers should use yesterday's Paksat-MM1, TurkmenAlem and GSAT 10 digest for new free channels instead.
Are there any BISS keys in this update?
No. There is no BISS-encrypted record in this set, and no officially issued key is published here. Do not trust any site that claims a key for these rows without an official source.
Why does my receiver still show Al Jazeera 2 or 5 Select?
Because the new names reuse those SIDs. Delete the old entry, then rescan the single transponder listed for the new channel.
Where can I verify these frequencies myself?
KingOfSat (en.kingofsat.net) publishes the dated change log used here, SatBeams publishes a corroborating transponder bulletin dated 3 November, and LyngSat's latest-additions list corroborates earlier entries. Links are in the sources section below.
