BISS Key Daily Update October 24, 2026: 38 Verified Records

BISS Key Daily Update October 24, 2026: Sky UK Reshuffle, 38 Records

Zero official BISS keys were issued in the last 24 hours. Today's verified signal: 5 Select closed and relaunched as 5 Drama on Sky UK, Comedy Central HD UK moved frequencies, Sorozatklub debuted twice on Thor 6, and ABS-3A 3°W saw fresh C-band churn.

Quick answer: No BISS keys were officially released in the window (2026-10-23 08:00 → 2026-10-24 08:00 PKT). What did move: Sky UK closed 5 Select and launched 5 Drama (UK) on the same SID 2105 at 28.2°E, Comedy Central HD UK shifted from 11141 H to 11305 H, nine SBA radio services appeared as new clear sightings, Sorozatklub and Viasat Explore debuted on Thor 6, ABS-3A 3°W shuffled six services including FTA GMA Pinoy TV USA & Canada, four RAI services refreshed PIDs on Hot Bird, and Sudan TV returned as a clear DVB-S signal on Badr 8 26°E. The Astra-4A BISS muxes were re-verified unchanged.

Today's BISS verdict: zero keys, two intact muxes

No BISS-key feed announcements appeared in any verified source in the last 24 hours — not on KingOfSat's news, additions or removals pages, not in the SatBeams 23-October bulletin, and not on LyngSat. As ever, do not confuse "encrypted entry" with "key release": today's SatBeams bulletin carries no BISS-encrypted rows at all — everything below is FTA, Dreamcrypt, or Conax/Cryptoworks/Irdeto/Nagravision.

The two permanent BISS neighbourhoods we watch daily are the RRT T2-MI PLP-0 multiplex on Astra-4A 4.8°E (12073 H) and the BISS-1 rows on 12437 V. LyngSat's Astra-4A page was re-touched (stamp moved 2026-10-21 → 2026-10-22), but both BISS muxes are unchanged: the same 12-service list on 12073 H and the same four BISS-1 rows (Pershiy, Suspilne Kultura, Suspilne Sport, Suspilne Krym) on 12437 V. Two undated "new" flags (My-Ukraina+, Armiya TV) sit on the page without dates — noted, not counted as in-window records.

Astra 28.2°E: Sky UK closes 5 Select, launches 5 Drama

KingOfSat's Friday news logged a same-SID relaunch: 5 Select has left 11305 H and 5 Drama (UK) started in its place — identical transponder, identical SID 2105, identical PIDs (2317 / 2318 English, 2320 nar), now in DVB-S2 Clear. Separately, Comedy Central HD UK moved from 11141 H to 11305 H, dropping its old carriage on Astra 2G (SID 51079). Nine SBA radio services also appeared as new clear sightings:

9 new clear SBA radio services (NID 702, TSID 26, all Clear, dated 2026-10-23 on KingOfSat's additions page): Riyad Radio (SID 1091), Jedda Radio (2622), European Radio (2623), Nedaa El Islam (2624), Mowajhat (2626), French (2627), Pishto (2628), Bangali (2629) and Hona AlAzim (2630). Scan the SBA transponder in DVB-S to pick these up — no key or card needed.

Thor 6 1°W: Sorozatklub debuts twice, Viasat Explore arrives

The SatBeams 23-October bulletin shows heavy movement on the M7 Group carriage at 12265 V (SR 28000, FEC 7/8, QPSK, DVB-S): Sorozatklub debuted as a new channel on two different operator listings (Direct One/Focus Sat under SID 30901 and Digi TV under SID 30934, same PIDs), Viasat Explore arrived as new on DIGI RO (SID 30922), and five services refreshed parameters. Slovak Telekom's 12456 V added one refresh:

Thor 5 (11278 V, Allente) also carried one updated row, but the bulletin entry is garbled (channel name shown as "1"/"@" with blank PIDs) — reported exactly as published. The evergreen section below explains how to handle garbled rows in your own logging.

ABS-3A 3°W: GMA Pinoy goes FTA, Skar TV hops transponders

The Americas-facing slot at 3°W saw the busiest churn of the day: six new services across four transponders and one departure that turned out to be a move. Note the HEVC trend — all six new services are HD HEVC, so an older MPEG-4-only box will not decode them even if the signal is strong.

Skar TV is the classic move pattern: its old SID 4 entry departed 11132 H the same day it reappeared as SID 1102 on 11052 H with new PIDs — if your box still holds the old entry, delete it and rescan 11052 H.

Hot Bird, Al Yah 1, 7°W and Badr 8: the FTA quick round

All clear, all parameter refreshes — good news for FTA dish owners:

One departure elsewhere: 4! Story TV left 12343.9 H on Astra 3C 23.5°E (DVB-S2, SID 8016) — the M:Sat TV / Canal+ Czechia & Slovakia listing. Note this is the same 12343 H transponder family where yesterday's Canál+ Classic arrived (SID 8019) — adjacent SIDs, reported exactly as observed with no further interpretation.

Evergreen explainer: what a same-SID relaunch looks like

Today's Sky UK move is a textbook same-SID relaunch: 5 Select (SID 2105) closed and 5 Drama (UK) started on the identical SID 2105, transponder and PIDs. This is the opposite of yesterday's Belintersat SID swap (different channel taking a recycled SID) — here the identity changed while everything technical stayed put.

What you'll see on your receiver:

  1. The channel name may update by itself on a full automatic rescan — the service name travels with the DVB tables, so 5 Drama should simply appear where 5 Select was.
  2. If the old name lingers, your box cached the old service label. Delete the stale 5 Select entry and do a manual scan of 11305 H (SR 27500, FEC 2/3, DVB-S2) to pull the fresh name.
  3. Comedy Central HD UK needs a real rescan — unlike 5 Drama, it changed frequency (11141 H → 11305 H) and SID (51079 → 2119). Old favorites pointing at 11141 H will go black.
  4. Don't log garbled rows as facts. The Thor 5 entry today shows "1"/"@" with blank PIDs — when a bulletin row is malformed, record the caveat (as we do here) rather than guessing the channel name.

Tuning tips for today's changes

  • Astra 28.2°E (UK viewers): rescan 11305 H (SR 27500, FEC 2/3, DVB-S2) — 5 Drama is FTA there and Comedy Central HD UK's new carriage is VideoGuard-encrypted (Sky subscription required).
  • Thor 6 1°W: manual-rescan 12265 V (SR 28000, FEC 7/8, DVB-S) and 12456 V (SR 30000, FEC 3/4, DVB-S2) after the Sorozatklub/Viasat Explore debuts and the PID refreshes.
  • ABS-3A 3°W: rescan 4157 H, 11052 H, 11132 H and 11168 H — and confirm your box supports HEVC/H.265 before chasing the six new channels, or the "signal but no picture" trap will bite.
  • Hot Bird 13°E: all four RAI refreshes are FTA — a simple manual rescan of 10992 V and 11013 H restores clean PIDs.
  • Badr 8 26°E: Sudan TV's clear DVB-S return on 11842.3 H (SR 27500, FEC 5/6) scans in with no key — good test signal for this orbital slot.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Were any new BISS keys issued on October 24, 2026?

No. No officially announced BISS-key feeds appeared in our verified sources in the last 24 hours. Today's 38 verified records are channel launches, moves, departures and transponder updates — not key releases.

2. What happened to 5 Select on Sky UK?

It closed and was relaunched as 5 Drama (UK) on the same transponder (11305 H), same SID 2105 and same PIDs — a same-SID relaunch. Rescan 11305 H and the new name should appear; the channel is clear (FTA on the Sky transponder).

3. Do I need to rescan for Comedy Central HD UK?

Yes. It moved from 11141 H (SID 51079) to 11305 H (SID 2119) with new PIDs. The old 11141 H entry will go black — delete it and scan 11305 H (SR 27500, FEC 2/3, DVB-S2). It remains VideoGuard-encrypted, so a Sky subscription is still required.

4. What is Dreamcrypt on the new ABS-3A channels?

Dreamcrypt is the conditional-access system used by Dream Satellite TV's bouquet on ABS-3A. Guyana Learning Channel Discover and MOE Central (11132 H) are Dreamcrypt-encrypted — they need the operator's authorized CAM/subscription. The other new ABS-3A channels (GMA Pinoy TV, E-Networks Channel 2, NTN, Skar TV) are FTA.

5. Can I receive ABS-3A at 3°W from Pakistan or the Middle East?

ABS-3A's beams are aimed primarily at the Americas and the Atlantic; reception in South Asia and the Middle East is marginal to impossible on typical dishes. Check the published footprint for your city before attempting — this bouquet is a monitor log for readers in the footprint, not a reception target everywhere.

6. Why does LyngSat show "new" flags without dates?

LyngSat flags recently changed rows without always stamping the date — My-Ukraina+ and Armiya TV on Astra-4A currently carry such flags. We only count dated records as in-window; undated flags are reported as observations, never as today's news.

FlySat was not used — it shut down in June 2026. KingOfSat and LyngSat remain the verified sources for this column.
