BISS Daily Update — October 22, 2026
Welcome to the BISS Key Daily Update for Thursday, October 22, 2026 — your verified, no-hype roundup of satellite channel changes from the last 24 hours. Today we tracked 37 verified records from KingOfSat's October 21 change log, Satbeams' October 21 transponder bulletin, and LyngSat. The headline stories: OSN's 16-channel exodus from Eutelsat 7°W, new BISS-encrypted BBC/ITV feeds on Telstar 12V, and SkyLink's Canal+ launch on Astra 3C.
BISS keys — honest status: no new BISS keys were officially issued or announced in this window. Seven new BISS-encrypted service records appeared on Telstar 12V (15°W) — but no key values were published, and we never invent keys. The Ukrainian BISS-encrypted mux on Astra 4A (4.8°E, 12073 H) is reported unchanged in LyngSat's snapshot dated 2026-10-20. We report only officially confirmed feeds and changes.
Today's Headlines
- OSN exodus from Eutelsat 7°W: 16 OSN channels left 12467.30 H (DVB-S2) at 23:09 CET Wednesday — plus Al Forat off 11315 V. The biggest single-day departure of October, continuing OSN's migration off 7°W.
- BBC/ITV BISS feeds on Telstar 12V (15°W): 7 new + 1 updated entries, all BISS-encrypted — Channel 4, CBeebies, BBC Parliament, Channel 5, BBC One North East & Cumbria, BBC Two, ITV 1 Granada. No keys published.
- SkyLink launches Canal+ trio on Astra 3C (23.5°E): Canal+ Czech & Slovakia, CANAL+ Drama and Canal+ Crime — all multi-CAS encrypted.
- Yamal 402 (55°E): Soblazn joins 12700.70 H (encrypted); STS Love and Telekanal Che! (two SIDs, incl. a +2h timeshift) go free-to-air on 11384.80 H.
- 5 Polish music/TV channels leave Hot Bird 13G (13°E) — StudioMed TV HD, Home TV Polska, Nuta Gold, Nuta TV and Power TV off 11487.30 H.
- Movistar+ 12705.90 V stays silent: no Wednesday entries after Tuesday's 23:58 CET departure — the flap streak paused; the bouquet remains off-air.
OSN Exodus: 16 Channels Leave Eutelsat 7°W (12467.30 H)
KingOfSat's Wednesday log records a full-package departure on Eutelsat 7 West A (7°W), 12467.30 MHz, pol. H (DVB-S2) at 23:09 CET (03:09 PKT Thursday) — all 16 services of the OSN bouquet on that transponder flagged as left:

Earlier the same evening, Al Forat left 11315.00 MHz, pol. V (DVB-S, SID 14, PID 2841 MPEG-4 / 2842 Arabic) at 22:47 CET (02:47 PKT Thursday). This continues the October OSN migration off 7°W that this blog covered earlier in the month — KingOfSat lists no replacement transponder for any of these services, so OSN subscribers should watch for the package's new home rather than blind-scanning the old slot.
BBC & ITV BISS Feeds Appear on Telstar 12V (15°W)
Satbeams' October 21 bulletin (published 14:46 PKT Wednesday, updated 00:29 PKT Thursday) is a Telstar 12V special — 7 new entries plus 1 updated entry, every one of them BISS-encrypted. This is the BISS story of the day:
| Event | Channel | Transponder | SR / FEC | Format | VP / AP | SID |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New | Channel 4 | 11014 V | 107140 (DVB-S2X) | HD MPEG-4 | 6301 / English 6302 | 17664 |
| New | CBeebies UK (06-19) | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 (DVB-S2 QPSK, Arqiva) | SD MPEG-2 | 401 / English 402 | 4672 |
| New | BBC Parliament | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 | SD MPEG-2 | 601 / English 602 | 4736 |
| New | 5 (Channel 5) | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 | HD MPEG-4 | 6401 / English 6402 | 17728 |
| New | BBC One North East & Cumbria | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 | HD MPEG-4 | 6601 / English 6602 | 17540 |
| New | BBC Two | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 | HD MPEG-4 | 6101 / English 6102 | 17472 |
| New | ITV 1 Granada | 11044 V | 44100, 9/10 | HD MPEG-4 | 6201 / English 6202 | 17608 |
| Updated | VOA Spanish (radio) | 11027 H | 12500, 1/2 (DVB-S QPSK) | BISS HD MPEG-4 | 7001 / English 7002 | 17920 |
Critical honesty notes: (1) These are BISS-encrypted service records — no key values were published anywhere in this window, so the entries are receivable only by holders of legitimate authorisation. Any "BISS keys" for these feeds circulating on social media are unverified. (2) Channel 4's feed sits on a DVB-S2X transponder (11014 V, SR 107140) — a plain DVB-S2 receiver cannot lock it; you need a DVB-S2X-capable tuner. The other seven rows are standard DVB-S/S2 and will blind-scan normally.
SkyLink: Canal+ Trio Launches on Astra 3C (23.5°E)
KingOfSat (09:49 CET = 13:49 PKT Wednesday) reports three new services in the SkyLink bouquet on Astra 3C (23.5°E):
| Channel | Frequency / Pol | SR / FEC | SID / PIDs | Encryption |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Canal+ Czech & Slovakia | 12070.90 H | 27500, 3/4 (DVB-S) | 13132 — 2810 MPEG-4 / 2820 Czech, 2821 qaa, 2822 Czech | Conax / Irdeto 2 / Nagravision 3 / Viaccess 5.0 |
| CANAL+ Drama Czechia & Slovakia | 12110.30 H | 29900, 3/4 (DVB-S2) | 15610 — 2001 MPEG-4 / 2011 Czech, 2012 qaa, 2013 Czech | Conax / Irdeto 2 / Nagravision 3 / Viaccess 5.0 |
| Canal+ Crime Czechia & Slovakia | 12187.90 H | 29900, 3/4 (DVB-S2) | 21171 — 598 MPEG-4 / 198 Czech, 298 Czech, 398 qaa | Conax / Irdeto 2 / Nagravision 3 / Viaccess 5.0 |
All three are full multi-CAS encrypted (Conax, Irdeto 2, Nagravision 3 and Viaccess 5.0) — SkyLink subscriber channels, not FTA and not BISS. A rescan of the three listed transponders picks them up.
Yamal 402 (55°E): One New Channel, Two More Go FTA
On Yamal 402 (55°E), Wednesday brought one encrypted arrival and three free-to-air rows:
- Soblazn (Russia) — NEW on 12700.70 MHz, pol. H (DVB-S2, SR 27500, FEC 3/4), SID 55501, PID 201 MPEG-4 / 301 Russian — encrypted in Compunicate & Viaccess 2.6/5.0/6.0 (13:40 CET = 17:40 PKT).
- STS Love — NOW FREE TO AIR on 11384.80 MHz, pol. H (SR 30000, FEC 1/2), SID 13, PID 180 MPEG-4 / 181 Russian (14:00 CET = 18:00 PKT).
- Telekanal Che! — NOW FREE TO AIR on the same 11384.80 H — two rows: SID 15 (PID 76 MPEG-4 / 77 Russian) and SID 16 (PID 79 MPEG-4 / 81 Russian, +2h timeshift).
The two Che! entries are the most FTA-friendly rows of the day for Russian-language viewers — one with a two-hour timeshift, handy where the footprint allows.
New FTA Channels
| Channel | Satellite | Frequency / Pol | SR / FEC | Format | V-PID / A-PID | SID |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| STS Love | Yamal 402, 55°E | 11384.80 H | 30000, 1/2 | MPEG-4 | 180 / Russian 181 | 13 |
| Telekanal Che! | Yamal 402, 55°E | 11384.80 H | 30000, 1/2 | MPEG-4 | 76 / Russian 77 | 15 |
| Telekanal Che! (+2h) | Yamal 402, 55°E | 11384.80 H | 30000, 1/2 | MPEG-4 | 79 / Russian 81 | 16 |
These are straightforward KingOfSat "now free to air" rows — rescan 11384.80 H on Yamal 402 and they should lock clear.

BISS Encryption Status
- No new BISS keys were officially issued or announced anywhere in today's 24-hour window — no key values appear on KingOfSat, Satbeams or LyngSat.
- 7 new + 1 updated BISS-encrypted service records appeared on Telstar 12V (15°W) (Satbeams, October 21): Channel 4, CBeebies UK, BBC Parliament, Channel 5, BBC One North East & Cumbria, BBC Two, ITV 1 Granada (new) and VOA Spanish radio (updated). These are encrypted-entry records only — no keys were published. Do not confuse a BISS encryption flag with a key release.
- The Ukrainian BISS mux on Astra 4A (4.8°E), 12073 H (DVB-S2 8PSK, SR 30000, FEC 2/3, T2-MI PLP 0, RRT bouquet) is unchanged in LyngSat's snapshot dated 2026-10-20: the same 12 services, update stamp 261002 (October 2).
- The BISS-1 rows on 12437 V (Pershiy, Suspilne Kultura, Suspilne Sport, Suspilne Krym) are also unchanged.
- Not BISS, but worth knowing: the flapping Movistar+ 12705.90 V mini-bouquet on Astra 1P had no entries at all on Wednesday — the flip-flop streak paused after Tuesday's 23:58 CET departure. Still off-air, not re-launched.
Tuning Tips
- MENA / 7°W viewers: the OSN bouquet is gone from 12467.30 H — do not blind-scan the old slot. KingOfSat lists no replacement transponder yet; watch for OSN's new home announcement before rescanning.
- Telstar 12V (15°W) hunters: Channel 4's feed needs a DVB-S2X-capable tuner (11014 V, SR 107140). The other seven rows lock on standard DVB-S2, but remember — they are BISS-encrypted and no keys were published, so they will not open.
- Czech/Slovak viewers: rescan the three SkyLink transponders on Astra 3C (12070.90 H, 12110.30 H, 12187.90 H) to pick up the Canal+ trio.
- Yamal 402 (55°E) viewers: rescan 11384.80 H — STS Love and both Telekanal Che! rows (including the +2h timeshift) are now clear.
- Poland / 13°E viewers: StudioMed TV HD, Home TV Polska, Nuta Gold, Nuta TV and Power TV left Hot Bird 13G 11487.30 H — check your operator's bouquet for their new locations; today's logs show none.
Frequently Asked Questions
Were any new BISS keys released on October 22, 2026?
No. We checked KingOfSat's October 21 change log, Satbeams' October 21 transponder bulletin and LyngSat's Astra 4A page (updated 2026-10-20) — none contain any BISS key values. The new Telstar 12V BBC/ITV entries carry a BISS encryption flag, which is not a key release. We never publish invented keys.
What happened to OSN channels on Eutelsat 7°W?
All 16 OSN services on 12467.30 H (DVB-S2) were flagged as departed at 23:09 CET on Wednesday — History, Showcase Classics, Nickelodeon Arabia, the OSN Movies trio, the Nick channels, Discovery HD MEA, ID Xtra, OSN TV iqiyi, OSN TV Pop up, Al Yawm, Al Safwa and Cinema 1 & 2 — plus Al Forat off 11315 V. It continues the October OSN migration off 7°W; no replacement transponder is listed yet.
Can I watch the new BBC/ITV feeds on Telstar 12V?
Not without legitimate authorisation. They are BISS-encrypted contribution feeds and no keys were published, so a standard receiver will show them as scrambled. Also note that Channel 4's feed on 11014 V uses DVB-S2X at SR 107140 — only DVB-S2X-capable tuners can lock it.
What new channels did SkyLink add on Astra 3C?
Three Canal+ channels on 23.5°E: Canal+ Czech & Slovakia (12070.90 H), CANAL+ Drama Czechia & Slovakia (12110.30 H) and Canal+ Crime Czechia & Slovakia (12187.90 H). All are multi-CAS encrypted (Conax/Irdeto 2/Nagravision 3/Viaccess 5.0) for SkyLink subscribers — not FTA, not BISS.
Which channels went free-to-air today?
STS Love and Telekanal Che! (two rows, one a +2h timeshift) on Yamal 402 (55°E), 11384.80 H, SR 30000, FEC 1/2 — three straightforward "now free to air" rows from KingOfSat. Rescan that transponder and they should lock clear where the footprint reaches.
Where did the five Polish channels go?
StudioMed TV HD, Home TV Polska, Nuta Gold, Nuta TV and Power TV all left Hot Bird 13G (13°E), 11487.30 H on Wednesday evening. Today's logs show no replacement transponder — check your operator's (Platforma Canal+) bouquet updates for their new homes.
What is happening with Movistar+ on 12705.90 V?
Nothing — and that is notable. After three days of on/off flip-flops, the bouquet had zero KingOfSat entries on Wednesday. It remains off-air since Tuesday's 23:58 CET departure. KingOfSat is still mid-migration to its new blindscanning database and warns of bugs, so silence is not yet a confirmed decommission — but it is not a re-launch either.
Where do these daily updates get their data?
From three independent trackers: KingOfSat (daily change log), Satbeams (dated transponder bulletins) and LyngSat (satellite channel tables). FlySat is not used — it shut down permanently in June 2026. Links to every source are listed below.
