Satellite Frequency Update November 6, 2026: Quiet Day Report

Satellite Frequency Update November 6, 2026: Quiet Day Report

No new satellite bulletin has been published yet this morning — so instead of inventing changes, here is an honest status check, the headlines from yesterday's 575 verified records, and the current frequency landscape by satellite.

November 6, 2026 — As of 09:30 PKT today, there are zero new verified frequency changes to report. KingOfSat's latest dated section is still Thursday, November 5, 2026, and the SatBeams transponder news bulletin for November 6 does not exist yet — the page returns a 404. LyngSat has no dated bulletin for this window either. That is not a failure of the update: satellite bulletins are published later in the day, and the November 6 bulletin is expected to appear this afternoon. The 575 verified records dated November 5 were fully tabled in this morning's BISS daily post, so this article does not repeat them. Instead it gives you the honest status, the headlines from those 575 records, and an evergreen recap of the current frequency landscape — so the page is useful even on a quiet day.

For reference, the November 5 SatBeams bulletin was published at 10:45 UTC (03:45 PM PKT) and updated in the evening, so a similar timing is likely today. The November 6 bulletin will be covered in tomorrow's posts. No new official BISS keys were found in this window, and no BISS-encrypted rows appeared in any source checked.

Current Frequency Landscape by Satellite

The positions below are the ones that matter most to this blog's readers, with their current state as verified in the last 48 hours of bulletins. Frequencies are as recorded by SatBeams and KingOfSat; always verify on your own receiver.

Paksat-1R, 38°E — Pakistan's Home Satellite

No new Paksat-1R changes appeared in this window. The satellite remains the main home for Pakistani channels, and the blog's complete Paksat-1R channel list with frequencies (linked in Related Posts below) is the reference to use. If a Pakistani channel disappears from your list, check that post first — it is updated whenever a verified Paksat change is published.

ABS-2 / ABS-2A, 75°E — The Big Russian Reshuffle

This is the most-changed position of the week. The November 5 bulletin re-listed the MTS TV and Trikolor bouquets en masse. Key transponders after the reshuffle: 11605 V (deletion wave — dozens of international channels removed, including Karusel International, Dom Kino International, Perviy kanal SNG, RT News, Start TV, TNT 4 and Telekanal 2x2; new FTA: FRIDAY International, TB-3 International, THT International, THT4 International, SIDs 2000/2010/2020/2030), 10985 H (new FTA Russian international channels: 5 INTERNATIONAL, CTC INTERNATIONAL, CTC KIDS INTERNATIONAL, DOMASHNIY INTERNATIONAL, KinoMult, Mosfilm, PERETZ INTERNATIONAL, REN TV INTERNATIONAL, MY PLANET HD, Nadezhda, Patriot, muzsoyuz), 4034 H (new Somali channels: Kalsan TV, Hirshabelle TV, SNTV Daljir, Somali National TV) and 3740 V (the entire TAS Taiwanese bouquet deleted — 15 channels including SET News, SET Taiwan, MTV Taiwan, FTV News, Era News, Da Ai TV and SJTV — do not rescan for them here).

Eutelsat 7 West A / Nilesat 301, 7°W — OSN's New Home

OSN moved its bouquet on November 5. The new transponders are 12168.4 V, SR 30000, FEC 3/4 on Eutelsat 7 West A (OSN TV Mezze, Bloomberg Originals, OSN TV Now, OSN TV Movies Hollywood, CNN International HD, Animal Planet HD, OSN Kid Zone TV, Cartoon Network Arabic HD, OSN Comedy HD, Fatafeat, OSN, Arabic Series +2, Arabic Series Channel) and 12111 H, SR 30000, FEC 3/4 on Nilesat 301 (OSN Showcase Classics, OSN Yahala Aflam, TLC HD, OSN Yahala Bil Arabi, OSN Documentary, OSN One, OSN Crime, Moonbug Kids, OSN Movies Premiere HD, OSN Movies Action, Fann, Music Now). Most of the bouquet is Nagravision 3 / VeriMatrix encrypted; the OSN promo channel (SID 4511) is listed Clear. Earlier in the week, Dubai Media added Arirang HD and four radio services on 12322 V and 12418 H.

Eutelsat 5 West, 5°W — Fransat Swap and the ICI Rebrand

Two changes define 5°W this week. First, the Fransat swap: 6ter, Arte, Arte.Tv, France 5, M6 and W9 moved to 5 West B 12732 V, while LCI, LCP, TF1, TFX and TMC moved to 5 West A 12733 V (both SR 29499, FEC 8/9), and Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3 and Rai News 24 were re-listed FTA on 5 West B 12564 V. Second, the France Bleu regional radio network was rebranded as ICI — 88 new ICI regional stations on 11471 V and 11472 H, with the old France Bleu entries deleted. If your receiver still shows "France Bleu" on 5°W, rescan those two transponders and the same stations reappear under their new ICI names. Italian viewers also gained large FTA bouquets on 12542 H, 12574 H and 12585 H.

Astra 2E/2F/2G, 28.2°E — Ghana Bouquet and UK FTA

The Ghana bouquet arrived on Astra 2G 12725 V: 14 new FTA channels (21st TV, A1 TV, Cheers TV, CTM, Game TV, Givers TV Prime, Hi TV, NorthCiti TV, Righteous TV, Sompa TV, Tengmaal TV, Tera 1 TV, Zahara TV). Food Network UK and Quest Red UK are new FTA on Astra 2F 12382 H (SIDs 2946 and 2914), and No. 9 TV and Amazing Power TV are new FTA on Astra 2F 11635 V. Departures to note: Sky Crime +1, Sky Atlantic +1 and Sky Witness +1 left Astra 2E 12090 V, BBC Alba HD left Astra 2G 11023 H, and Max TV (Ghana) left 12725 V.

Hot Bird 13°E — Sports and Departures

Novasports2 League HD is new on Eutelsat 9B 12283.6 H, SR 27500, FEC 2/3 (VideoGuard), and Novasports 2 League is new on Hot Bird 13F 11938 H. Two channels left Hot Bird: Iran E Aryee left 11295.8 H and Hadi TV 3 left 11178.8 H.

Es'hail 1, 25.5°E — Al Jazeera Goes Free

Al Jazeera Live is new, free to air, on 11604.2 H, SR 28123, FEC 2/3, SID 10503, and Al Jazeera English is now listed Clear on the same transponder (SID 10504). This replaces the Al Jazeera Mubasher and Al Jazeera 2 services that left the same transponder earlier in the week.

Other Positions — Americas, Africa and 68.5°E

Caracol TV (Colombia) is now transmitted free to air on Intelsat 21, 58°W, 3884.5 H, SR 5825, FEC 8/9, SID 2. Colors (India) is new in PowerVu on Telstar 12 Vantage, 15°W, 12666.5 H, SR 30000, FEC 3/4, SID 114 — TV Asia's old slot. On Intelsat 20, 68.5°E, APTIM TV is testing FTA on 12562.2 H, SR 30000, FEC 5/6, SID 27, replacing New Vision TV on the same slot. On Belintersat 1, 51.5°E, Music One - Ru TV, + TV, KHL Prime HD and Box TV+ moved to the new frequency 11350 H, SR 45000, FEC 3/4.

Tuning Tips

  • Rescan by transponder, not full blind scan: for the OSN move, scan 12168 V and 12111 H on 7°W; for the Ghana bouquet, scan 12725 V on 28.2°E; for the ABS-2A reshuffle, scan 10985 H, 11605 V and 4034 H on 75°E; for the Fransat swap, scan 12732 V and 12733 V on 5°W.
  • Delete stale entries first: Telesur English and Daystar HD left 11067.5 V on 19.2°E, the TAS Taiwanese bouquet is gone from 3740 V on 75°E, and the old France Bleu names are dead on 5°W — stale entries will otherwise sit in your channel list and confuse the scan.
  • Check the beam before you scan: 7°W, 5°W and 28.2°E entries are Europe/MENA beams; 75°E and 38°E serve Asia. If you are in Pakistan, Paksat-1R (38°E) and ABS-2A (75°E) are your positions — the European transponders in this article are generally out of footprint.
  • Don't delete a working list on a quiet day: with no new bulletin yet, today is a good day to back up your channel list, not to wipe it. Rescan only the transponders listed above.
  • Check back this afternoon: the November 6 SatBeams bulletin usually appears in the afternoon PKT. Tomorrow's posts will table it in full.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there no new frequency changes in today's article?

Because no new bulletin had been published by check time (09:30 PKT). KingOfSat's latest section is still November 5, the SatBeams November 6 bulletin returns a 404, and LyngSat has no dated bulletin. Rather than invent records or repeat the morning post, this article reports the honest status and recaps the current landscape.

Where can I find the 575 changes from November 5?

In this morning's BISS daily post, which tables all 575 verified records with full frequencies, SIDs and encryption flags: the ABS-2A Russian reshuffle, the OSN move on 7°W, the Ghana bouquet on 28.2°E and the Fransat swap on 5°W.

When will the November 6 bulletin appear?

Based on the recent pattern — the November 5 bulletin was published at 10:45 UTC (03:45 PM PKT) — the November 6 bulletin is expected this afternoon. Tomorrow's posts will table it in full.

Is Caracol TV really free to air now?

Yes, according to KingOfSat's November 5 section: Caracol TV (Colombia) is now transmitted Free To Air on Intelsat 21, 58°W, 3884.5 H, SR 5825, FEC 8/9, SID 2. Test it on your own receiver — 58°W is an Americas beam, so it is not receivable in Asia or Europe.

Did Telesur English and Daystar HD really leave 19.2°E after one day?

Yes. They arrived on Astra 1P 11067.5 V on November 4 and KingOfSat recorded both as left on November 5. It was a quick reversal — do not rescan for them on that transponder.

What happened to the Taiwanese channels on ABS-2?

The entire TAS Taiwanese bouquet — 15 channels including SET News, SET Taiwan, MTV Taiwan, FTV News, Era News, Da Ai TV and SJTV — was deleted from ABS-2 3740 V in the November 5 bulletin. They are gone from that transponder; no replacement frequency was listed.

Do I need to rescan my receiver today?

Only if you want the new FTA channels listed above. With no new bulletin yet, a full rescan is unnecessary — scan the specific transponders in the tuning tips (12168 V and 12111 H on 7°W, 12725 V on 28.2°E, 10985 H and 11605 V on 75°E) and leave the rest of your list alone.
