Welcome to the Global Satellite Channels digest for November 6, 2026. It covers the verified channel changes dated November 5, 2026 on KingOfSat — all 48 change-events in the Thursday section, tabled in full with frequencies, SIDs and encryption. SatBeams' November 6 bulletin was not yet published when this article was checked (its page returns "Article not found"), and LyngSat's latest-additions list carries no dates or frequencies on its homepage, so no LyngSat rows are counted today. After yesterday's free-to-air day, today is a consolidation day: one big pay-TV move dominates, and the free channels that arrived yesterday are already leaving.

Overlap, stated plainly: today's 8:00 AM BISS post already counted the KingOfSat Thursday records inside its 575-record total, and today's 9:30 AM frequency post cross-referenced them without re-tabling them. This digest does not claim to have discovered those records first. What it adds is the first full table of all 48, with frequencies, SIDs and encryption, grouped by region so you can find the satellites you actually receive.

Headline summary: OSN regroups 25 channels onto two new 7°W transponders (12168.40 MHz on Eutelsat 7 West A and 12111.00 MHz on Nilesat 301), including four new channels on each side; Al Jazeera English and the new Al Jazeera Live start in the clear on Es'hail 1; Telesur English and Daystar HD leave Astra 1P one day after arriving there; three Sky +1 channels and BBC Alba HD leave 28.2°E; Colors starts in PowerVu on Telstar 12 Vantage on the exact SID TV Asia vacated yesterday; and Caracol TV goes free-to-air on Intelsat 21.

Evergreen guide: the one-day FTA window — and why SID 114 matters

Yesterday this digest celebrated Telesur English and Daystar HD arriving in the clear on Astra 1P. Today KingOfSat logs both channels leaving the very same transponder, 11067.50 MHz vertical, at 22:47 on November 5 — a stay of about one day. The same pattern repeats on Eutelsat 21B: 2STV from Senegal is listed broadcasting in the clear at 00:46 and leaving at 22:34 the same day. A "new free channel" listing is only a snapshot of that day's log. If a free channel matters to you, scan it the day it appears; by the next morning it may already be gone, and no amount of rescanning will bring it back.

The second pattern is the SID handover. On November 4, TV Asia left Telstar 12 Vantage on 12666.50 MHz, SID 114. On November 5, Colors from India starts on that exact frequency and SID — but in PowerVu encryption, not in the clear. Same slot, different channel, different encryption. That is why you should never pay anyone to "restore" a departed channel: the SID now belongs to something else, and in this case the something else is encrypted anyway. Delete stale entries, rescan the single transponder, and take what the log actually shows today.

The OSN move: 25 channels regroup on two new 7°W transponders

OSN is consolidating its 7°W presence onto two fresh transponders with identical parameters — SR 30000, FEC 3/4, DVB-S2 — one vertical on Eutelsat 7 West A, one horizontal on Nilesat 301. Four genuinely new channels appear (Bloomberg Originals on the vertical side; OSN Documentary, OSN One, OSN Crime and Moonbug Kids on the horizontal side), and the rest are existing OSN and partner channels moving to the new frequencies. Every row is encrypted in Nagravision 3 and VeriMatrix except one: the channel listed simply as "OSN" on SID 4511 is shown in the clear. If you subscribe to OSN, scan both transponders and delete the old OSN entries first, or the receiver will keep showing the stale ones beside the new ones.

Europe in one line: two one-day free channels vanish from 19.2°E, four Sky and BBC timeshift and HD services leave 28.2°E, a Russian DRE-Crypt package regroups on Belintersat 1, two services leave Hot Bird and two leave Intelsat 10-02, and Colors takes over TV Asia's old slot on Telstar 12 Vantage — in PowerVu, so it is not a free replacement. Nothing in this table is new and free-to-air; the day's free news sits in the next table instead.

Caracol TVNow FTA3884.50 MHz, H, Intelsat 21, 58°W, SR 5825, FEC 8/9DVB-S SID 2, Spanish, Colombia - C-band, now free-to-air

The genuinely free news of the day is here. Al Jazeera English is listed in the clear and the new Al Jazeera Live starts in the clear on the same Es'hail 1 transponder, so one scan of 11604.20 MHz brings in both. APTIM TV is testing in the clear on Intelsat 20 — but "testing" means it can change name, move, or vanish without notice, so treat it as a bonus, not a keeper. Caracol TV going free-to-air is good news for the Americas, on C-band at 58°W. Novasports2 League HD is the second Greek sports launch in two days (Novasports1 arrived on November 4), and it is encrypted in VideoGuard.

Communication satellites in orbit above Earth beaming signals to different continents

What this means for viewers in Pakistan and Asia

  • Scan Es'hail 1 11604.20 MHz first. Two clear Al Jazeera channels on one transponder is the best free return today. Use horizontal, SR 28123, FEC 2/3, DVB-S.
  • APTIM TV is worth a look on Intelsat 20 at 68.5°E. It is testing in the clear on 12562.20 MHz, horizontal, SR 30000, FEC 5/6 — a satellite Asian dishes already receive. Remember it is a test: it may change or disappear.
  • Do not chase the Europe rows on a Pakistan dish. Astra 19.2 and 28.2 degrees East, Hot Bird, Intelsat 10-02 and Telstar 15 degrees West are not Asia beams. Telesur, Daystar, the Sky +1 channels and Colors are good news only if you already receive those satellites.
  • OSN on 7°W is encrypted. The 25-channel move needs a valid OSN subscription (Nagravision 3 and VeriMatrix). Only the channel listed as "OSN" on SID 4511 is shown in the clear — do not expect the rest to open without a subscription.
  • Caracol TV going free is an Americas story. It sits on C-band at 58°W, outside the reach of a Pakistan dish, and is included for completeness.
  • Seasonal viewers: Halloween channels ending in early November is normal. Do not pay anyone to "restore" Telesur English, Daystar HD or Sky Cinema Halloween HD — their slots now carry other channels or nothing at all.

How to rescan after today's changes

  1. Scan one transponder, not the whole satellite. Enter the frequency, polarisation, symbol rate and FEC exactly as listed, then scan that transponder only.
  2. Delete the old entry first for same-SID swaps. Colors needs TV Asia's stale entry deleted before it appears on SID 114, and APTIM TV needs New Vision TV's entry deleted on SID 27.
  3. After a package refresh, delete the whole old package. For the OSN move, delete the old OSN entries before scanning 12168.40 MHz and 12111.00 MHz, or silent twins will stay in your list.
  4. Check the beam before buying anything. A channel on 28.2 degrees East, 58 degrees West or 70 degrees West will not appear on a dish pointed at 25.5 or 38.2 degrees East.
  5. Encrypted means encrypted. Nagravision 3, VeriMatrix, VideoGuard, DRE-Crypt and PowerVu rows need a valid subscription - no key in this article unlocks them, and no key is published here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Telesur English really gone after only one day?

Yes. KingOfSat's November 4 log shows Telesur English starting in the clear on Astra 1P 11067.50 MHz, and the November 5 log shows it leaving the same transponder at 22:47. Daystar HD left the same transponder at the same time. Short stays like this happen when a channel tests a slot or a distribution deal ends quickly — rescan the transponder and the entries will be gone.

How do I get the OSN channels on 7°W?

Scan Eutelsat 7 West A 12168.40 MHz, vertical, SR 30000, FEC 3/4, and Nilesat 301 12111.00 MHz, horizontal, SR 30000, FEC 3/4. Delete your old OSN entries first. All 25 channels except one are encrypted in Nagravision 3 and VeriMatrix, so you need a valid OSN subscription to watch them.

Is the OSN channel on SID 4511 really free?

KingOfSat lists the channel named "OSN" on 12168.40 MHz, SID 4511, as DVB-S2 Clear. That means no subscription is listed for that one entry. Listings can change, so scan it and see — and do not assume the other 24 OSN rows are free, because they are all listed as encrypted.

What happened to TV Asia's slot on Telstar 12 Vantage?

TV Asia left 12666.50 MHz, SID 114, on November 4. On November 5, Colors from India started on the exact same frequency and SID — but in PowerVu encryption. Delete the old TV Asia entry, rescan the transponder, and you will find Colors instead, encrypted.

How do I get Al Jazeera Live and Al Jazeera English?

Scan Es'hail 1 at 25.5°E, 11604.20 MHz, horizontal, SR 28123, FEC 2/3, DVB-S. Al Jazeera Live is new in the clear on SID 10503 (Arabic) and Al Jazeera English is listed in the clear on SID 10504 (English). One transponder scan brings in both.

Are there any BISS keys in this update?

No. There is no BISS-encrypted record in this set, and no officially issued key is published here. Do not trust any site that claims a key for these rows without an official source.

Why does my receiver still show Telesur English or Daystar HD?

Because the receiver keeps stale entries until you delete them. The channels left the satellite, so the names in your list point at nothing. Delete both entries, then rescan 11067.50 MHz vertical on Astra 1P only if you want to confirm they are gone.

Where can I verify these frequencies myself?

KingOfSat (en.kingofsat.net) publishes the dated change log used here. SatBeams' November 6 bulletin was not yet published when this article was checked, and LyngSat's homepage additions list carries no dates or frequencies, so neither contributed rows today. Links are in the sources section below.
