Welcome to the Global Satellite Channels digest for November 1, 2026. This digest covers the verified channel and transponder changes reported on October 31, 2026 by KingOfSat and SatBeams, organised by orbital neighbourhood instead of by source. That matters today, because the day's story is not one big package launch: it is five smaller stories happening at once — a UK clear-out, a Russian batch, a Portuguese package rebuild, a Spanish reshuffle, and a Nordic clean-up.

Overlap, stated plainly: today's 8:00 AM BISS post already published the full 142-record Oct 31 window, and today's 9:30 AM frequency post already covered the Sky departures, the Hispasat BISS services and the headline FTA moves. This digest does not claim to have discovered those records first. What it adds is the full world-region view: the complete 25-entry Portugal NOS list, the Belintersat Russian batch in full, the Spanish DTT and radio lists, and the Thor 5 clean-up — none of which the earlier posts listed in full.

Headline summary: four Sky services left Astra 28.2°E, four Russian services appeared on Belintersat 1, Hispasat rebuilt its Portugal offering with 25 new entries on a single transponder, and Thor 5 dropped 22 unnamed entries. If a favourite channel vanished, rescan the exact transponder listed below before assuming it is gone for good.

Evergreen guide: reading a package rebuild vs a single channel move

When one channel moves, only its row changes. When a whole package is rebuilt, you see what Hispasat shows today: dozens of services on one transponder all marked “new” at once, often with matching updated entries under their old SIDs. That pattern usually means the operator re-mapped the multiplex, not that 25 brand-new channels launched overnight. Practical rule: after a rebuild, delete the old package entries from your receiver and scan the transponder fresh, rather than editing channels one by one. Duplicated names with two SIDs (DAZN 4, DAZN 5 and ID Investigation Discovery below) are the tell-tale sign — keep the entry that actually plays and delete the silent twin.

Sky Digital cleared four services from 28.2°E on October 31. Note for Star Plus HD viewers: KingOfSat had already listed a new frequency for Star Plus HD on October 29, so the October 31 departure from 11758.50 MHz looks like an old transponder being cleared after a move — rescan 28.2°E first. On Belintersat 1, all four Russian services share one transponder, 11290.00 MHz H at SR 45000, FEC 3/4, in DRE-Crypt — a single-transponder batch, not four separate moves.

Every entry above sits on Hispasat 30W-5, 12398 MHz H, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, in Nagravision. The same transponder also carries updated entries for most of these names under their older SIDs; this table lists each name once, under its new entry, so the list stays usable for a rescan. DAZN 4, DAZN 5 and ID Investigation Discovery each appear twice in the raw bulletin under two SIDs — both SIDs are shown in the details column.

Spain's side of Hispasat is a reshuffle, not a launch: regional services left 11502V and 11653H, nine Portuguese radio services appeared on 12519V, and the Madrid DTT bouquet on 12631V was updated almost in full. On the BISS side, four services were updated and one left: DKISS is gone from 12631V, while DMAX España, Paramount Network España, Squirrel and Veo 7 on 12549V, plus Realmadrid TV HD on 12671V, only need a rescan — no new key is published here, and none was issued in the source bulletins.

ESPN Deportes on Echostar 11 (110°W) is a US DISH Network update and is not receivable on a typical Pakistan or Europe dish — it is included because this is a world digest, not a reception guide for one beam. The same honesty applies to the Thor 5 deletions: the bulletin lists those 22 entries by SID number only, with no channel names, so they are grouped here rather than dressed up as named channels. The two Astra 1N entries cross-check between sources: KingOfSat listed both as new frequencies on October 30, and SatBeams lists them as new on October 31.

How to rescan after today's changes

  1. Scan one transponder, not the whole satellite. Enter the frequency, polarisation, symbol rate and FEC exactly as listed, then scan that transponder only.
  2. Delete the old entry first for moved channels. A stale entry with the old SID will show “no signal” even after a good scan.
  3. After a package rebuild, delete the whole old package. Editing 25 entries one by one leaves silent twins behind.
  4. Check the beam before buying anything. A channel on 110°W or 1°W Nordic beams will not appear on a dish pointed at 28.2°E or 7°W.
  5. FTA needs no key. If a listed FTA channel asks for a key or card, you are on the wrong feed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Star Gold HD and Star Plus HD disappear from 11758 MHz?

KingOfSat recorded both leaving 11758.50 MHz, H on Astra 2E on October 31, 2026. Star Plus HD had already been listed on a new frequency on October 29, so this is most likely a transponder move — rescan Astra 28.2°E before concluding the channels are gone.

What is the biggest single change of the day?

The Portugal NOS rebuild on Hispasat 30W-5, 12398 MHz H: 25 new entries on one transponder. It dwarfs every other single-transponder change in the Oct 31 window.

Are the new Portugal channels free to watch?

No — they are listed as Nagravision-encrypted NOS / pay-TV entries. Only the FTA rows in the tables above (Aragon TV, CM2 VIA 2, the radio services and the two Astra 1N entries) are free-to-air.

Did any BISS key change today?

No. The BISS services in this digest show parameter updates or a departure only. No officially issued BISS key appears in either source bulletin for October 31, and this post publishes none.

What does “left” mean in a frequency update?

It means the channel is no longer transmitted on that transponder. It may have moved, changed satellite, or ceased transmission — the update alone does not say which, so always rescan first.

Why are the Thor 5 entries unnamed?

Because the SatBeams bulletin itself lists them by SID number only, with no channel names. Grouping them honestly is better than inventing names for them.

Where can I verify these frequencies myself?

KingOfSat (en.kingofsat.net) and LyngSat publish change logs, and SatBeams publishes dated transponder news. Links are in the sources section below.

Conclusion: October 31 was a reshuffle day, not a launch day: one UK neighbourhood cleared out, one Russian batch arrived on a single transponder, one Portuguese package was rebuilt in place, and one Nordic satellite was tidied up. For most viewers the practical job is small — rescan 12398 H only if you follow the Portugal package, rescan 28.2°E for the Sky moves, and delete the departed entries rather than waiting for them to come back.
