Tandberg Update October 26, 2026: Director Rows Unchanged
No new Tandberg Director feed changes today — the 15th consecutive quiet day. The LyngSat SES-6 page itself was re-stamped on October 25, yet all three standing Director transponders on SES-6 40.5°W are verified live and unchanged. Below: today’s status check, the confirmed Director transponder list, and a guide that prevents the most common misreading in feed tracking — page stamp versus row stamp.
Daily Status — October 26, 2026
We scanned the usual sources for any Tandberg/Director conditional access movement in the last 24 hours (October 25, 15:30 PKT → October 26, 15:30 PKT).
| Source Checked | Findings |
|---|---|
| KingOfSat New Records (batch now stamped 2026-10-26 09:03 CET, 79 records) | 79 records scanned — 0 Director / Tandberg hits. The batch has moved since yesterday, so this is a genuinely new batch, not a re-read of yesterday’s list — and it still contains nothing Director. |
| KingOfSat News (Oct 25–26 window) | Monday October 26 section is live (Astra 2E/2G, Es’hail 1 and Eutelsat 8 West B Al Jazeera SID changes, TurkmenÄlem/MonacoSat AVA departures) — no Director activity, no SES-6 item. Notably, no Sunday October 25 section exists at all: the news page jumps from Saturday October 24 straight to Monday October 26. |
| LyngSat SES-6 40.5°W (page now stamped 2026-10-25) | Page stamp moved (2026-10-23 → 2026-10-25), but all 3 Director rows present with identical parameters and identical row stamps — unchanged. See the guide below for why that distinction matters. |
| Web / equipment news (October 2026) | No fresh Tandberg/Director CA announcements found — only historical press releases and unrelated broadcast items. |
Verified Director Transponders — SES-6 40.5°W
All three rows below were re-checked against the LyngSat SES-6 page on October 26, 2026. Parameters and row stamps are identical to the October 25 check.
| Frequency / Pol | Transponder | Parameters | Services | Encryption |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3923 L | tp 66, Hemi | DVB-S2 8PSK, SR 7000, FEC 3/4 | América (Peru), SIDs 1 & 3, MPEG-4/HD | Director |
| 4019 R | tp 69, Hemi | DVB-S2 8PSK, SR 6700, FEC 5/6, T2-MI | RCN PLP 0 (RCN TV, RCN HD2, RCN Radio, La FM, Radio 1, La Mega) + PLP 1 (RCN TV SD) | Director |
| 4028 R | tp 69, Hemi | DVB-S2 8PSK, SR 8000, FEC 3/4 | RCN TV, RCN Nuestra Tele Internacional, NTN 24 Internacional, RCN Novelas, RCN Nuestra Tele | Director + Irdeto |
Important: Director is a professional conditional access system. These services are not openable with a standard consumer receiver, and this blog does not publish keys or authorizations for them. The table above is a status reference for dish owners and feed trackers, not a viewing guide.

Page Stamp vs Row Stamp: How to Read a LyngSat Update
Today’s SES-6 page is the perfect teaching example, because it looks like news at first glance and is not. The page stamp moved from 2026-10-23 to 2026-10-25 — yet not one Director row changed. Here is how to read that correctly, every time.
1. The page stamp is about the page, not your row
LyngSat stamps each satellite page with the date of its most recent edit. SES-6’s stamp moved to 2026-10-25, which proves only that something on the SES-6 page was edited. SES-6 carries dozens of transponders; an edit to any one of them moves the page stamp. It is never, by itself, evidence that your row changed.
2. The row stamp is the evidence for your row
Each transponder row carries its own stamp — the date that row was last changed. The three Director row stamps today are exactly what they were yesterday: 3923 L at 260616, 4019 R at 221118, and 4028 R at 241008. An unchanged row stamp plus unchanged parameters means the row was not touched in the latest page edit, full stop.

3. Compare both stamps, in order, before reporting anything
The correct sequence is: page stamp first (did the source move at all?), then each row stamp (did my row move?). Four combinations are possible, and only one of them is news for you: page stamp moved AND your row stamp moved. Page moved + row unchanged, as today, means other transponders were edited and yours was not. Page unchanged + row unchanged means nothing was edited at all. Never report a page-stamp move as a feed change.
4. The same trap exists on KingOfSat
KingOfSat’s new-records batch stamp works the same way: today it moved to 2026-10-26 09:03 CET with 79 records, which is real movement of the source — but a keyword scan for Director and Tandberg across all 79 records returned zero hits. A moved batch stamp is a reason to scan again, not a result in itself. The result is what the scan finds, and today it found nothing Director.
5. Log both stamps, every day
Your daily log line should carry both numbers, for example: “Oct 26: KoS batch 2026-10-26 09:03 CET, 0 Director hits; LyngSat SES-6 page 2026-10-25; Director row stamps 260616 / 221118 / 241008, unchanged; quiet day 15.” With both stamps logged, a future page move that does touch a Director row will stand out instantly — and, just as importantly, a page move that does not will never fool you into a false alarm.
The rule behind the guide: a page stamp tells you the book was opened; a row stamp tells you whether your page was rewritten. Report the row, not the book.
Frequently Asked Questions
Has any Tandberg Director feed changed today?
No. Zero new Director/Tandberg records were found in the last 24 hours, and all three SES-6 40.5°W Director rows are unchanged. This is the 15th consecutive quiet day.
But the LyngSat SES-6 page was updated on October 25 — does that not mean something changed?
It means the SES-6 page as a whole was edited, not that a Director row changed. All three Director row stamps (260616, 221118, 241008) are identical to yesterday, with identical parameters. The page edit touched other transponders, not Director.
Why is there no Sunday October 25 section on KingOfSat News?
KingOfSat publishes news sections on its own schedule, and at check time the page jumps from Saturday October 24 straight to Monday October 26. A missing day section is a gap in the news listing, not a hidden Director update — the new-records batch for October 26 was scanned separately and is also Director-free.
Is 15 quiet days unusual for Director?
No. Director feeds serve professional distribution networks that change rarely, unlike consumer channel bouquets that churn weekly. Long quiet streaks are the normal pattern; the daily check exists precisely so a real change, when it comes, is caught on day one.
Can I watch RCN or América (Peru) from SES-6 with a normal receiver?
No. The Director-encrypted services on 3923 L, 4019 R and 4028 R are not openable with a consumer receiver, and no keys are published here.
What should I check first if 4019 R shows nothing?
Your T2-MI and PLP settings. 4019 R carries RCN in T2-MI across PLP 0 and PLP 1, and a receiver that ignores T2-MI or picks the wrong PLP will show nothing despite a full lock.
How will I know when a Director feed really ends?
The listing row will disappear or change its parameters — its row stamp will move — and the change will appear in KingOfSat or LyngSat updates. This daily slot reports exactly that; a moved page stamp alone is not evidence.
