Sports Satellite Channels — Daily Update: October 19, 2026
Verification: 19 October 2026 at ~1:00 PM PKT (Asia/Karachi) · Sources: KingOfSat, SatBeams, LyngSat
✅ Quick answer
0 new sports-channel changes verified in the last 24 hours (Oct 18 12:30 → Oct 19 12:30 PKT) · 6 sports items covered in today's 08:00 slot · 14 noted / watch items · 0 new official BISS keys.
No new permanent sports-channel launches, departures or frequency moves were verified on KingOfSat, SatBeams or LyngSat in this window. The window's only sports activity — six Movistar+ sports services flashing on and off Astra 1P (19.2°E) within eight hours on Sunday night into Monday morning — was reported in full by today's 08:00 slot and is recapped below with its labels intact, never re-labeled new. The standing October 2026 sports channels overview remains the current sports map.
Sports records: October 17–19, 2026
Sports channels are the most restless services on any satellite: pop-up event channels appear for a single tournament, subscription bouquets reshuffle transponders overnight, and free-to-air (FTA) sports feeds encrypt without warning when rights windows change. This daily edition records only sports-channel changes verified in the last 24–48 hours against the KingOfSat, SatBeams and LyngSat monitoring pages checked today. Items already published in today's 08:00 slot or in earlier slots are shown below with their labels — they are not presented as new here.

What the quiet window tells us
Trackers are in transition, not the sky. KingOfSat's Saturday news section was still empty at check time, and its scanning system is mid-migration to a new blind-scanning database — a known cause of delayed listings. A quiet tracker page is not proof of a quiet sky; it is one reason this column checks three independent sources (KingOfSat, SatBeams, LyngSat) instead of one. SatBeams' October 19 bulletin had not been published at check time (verified 404).
The weekend's sports move happened in a flash. The single sports event of the window — the six Movistar+ sports services appearing on Astra 1P's 12705.90 V at 16h06 CET Sunday and leaving the same transponder at 00h07 CET Monday — was captured by the 08:00 slot as it happened. Between such flashes, a quiet day is the honest read, and re-labeling covered items as new would be the dishonest one.
Watch list stays the same. The 78.5°E Thai bouquet (Hey Play Sports SID 56, MRTV Sports SID 66 on 3730 H) still carries LyngSat flags with no dates — outside this window, so not labeled new, but MRTV Sports may be the arrival side of an earlier 79°E departure. The unnamed Sky placeholder SIDs 2117/2118/2119 on 11305.30 H still have no name resolution. Both are unresolved watch items, not verified changes.
The Movistar+ same-transponder flash, explained
Fourteen Movistar+ services appeared as "new frequency" on 12705.90 V (Astra 1P, 19.2°E) at 16h06 CET on Sunday, October 18 — and the very same fourteen "left" the very same transponder at 00h07 CET on Monday, October 19, about eight hours later. Six of the fourteen were sports: DAZN 2 Spain (SID 30506), LaLiga TV Bar 5 (30507), Eurosport 1 Spain (30509), DAZN F1 (30514), #Vamos (30515) and Movistar Deportes 2 (30521), all DVB-S, SR 22000, FEC 5/6, Nagravision 3. The other eight were general channels; Canal Sur Andalucia was the only Clear service in the batch.
Why channels flash on a transponder
A same-day appearance-and-departure on one transponder usually points to one of three things. First, a bouquet test or rehearsal: operators briefly light services on a target transponder before a planned move, then pull them back — real, but temporary. Second, a tracker-side artifact: KingOfSat's own banner currently warns that its new blind-scanning database can produce delayed or buggy listings, so an 8-hour flash can be a database duplicate rather than an on-air event. Third, a timing artifact in how entries were timestamped between database transitions. None of the three can be confirmed from the listing alone — treat the flash as a watch signal, not a tuning target.
How to read the Clear / Nagravision 3 split
The batch tells its own story: every one of the six sports services carried the Nagravision 3 flag, while Canal Sur Andalucia — the batch's only FTA service — appeared Clear. Subscription sports on Movistar+ live behind Nagravision 3 on 19.2°E; the encryption column on the listing is what decides whether your receiver will show a picture, not the fact that the service "appeared" on a transponder. A flash entry without a stable 24–48 hour follow-up is not a reason to rescan and re-save orphaned entries.
What a Movistar+ viewer should do this week
Do not retune on a single "new frequency" flag from one bulletin. If 12705.90 V settles into the bouquet over the next 24–48 hours, listings will repeat the entries with stable SIDs — that is the signal to rescan that one transponder and re-authorize. If the entries vanish (as they have so far), the flash was a test or a tracker artifact, and rescanning mid-flash only strands dead entries in your channel list.
Keeping your sports services tuned
π Rescan after any "updated" flag. An "updated" listing almost always means new PIDs — a manual transponder rescan recovers the service faster than a full-satellite scan.
π§Ή Delete orphaned entries after departures. Premier Sports 1 HD's exit left dead entries on 11671.10 H — clear them so the receiver does not stop on a black screen.
π Check encryption status before matchday, not on it. Services like Eleven Sports and Tring Sport 5 are subscription-encrypted; confirm your authorization the day before, not five minutes before kickoff.
π️ Do not trust a clear test feed. Sports services sometimes appear unencrypted during testing and encrypt for the event. If a channel scans in FTA today, rescan before relying on it.

⚠️ Access note. Encrypted services need the broadcaster's authorized subscription, CAM or receiver. This page publishes monitoring parameters only — no decryption keys or bypass methods. No officially issued BISS/PowerVu keys for sports channels exist in this window; none are printed here.
Frequently asked questions
Were any new sports channel launches verified on October 18–19, 2026?
No. No new permanent sports-channel launches, departures or frequency moves were verified on KingOfSat, SatBeams or LyngSat in this window. The dated in-window sports items — the six Movistar+ sports services' flash on Astra 1P — were reported in today's 08:00 slot and are shown above with their labels.
What happened with the Movistar+ sports channels on Astra 19.2°E?
Six Movistar+ sports services (DAZN 2 Spain, LaLiga TV Bar 5, Eurosport 1 Spain, DAZN F1, #Vamos, Movistar Deportes 2) appeared as "new frequency" on 12705.90 V at 16h06 CET Sunday, October 18, then "left" the same transponder at 00h07 CET Monday, October 19 — about eight hours later. All six are DVB-S, SR 22000, FEC 5/6, Nagravision 3. See today's 08:00 BISS update for the full 42-record picture.
Why would the same channels appear and disappear within 8 hours?
Most likely a bouquet test or rehearsal, or a tracker-side artifact from KingOfSat's ongoing blind-scanning-database migration (their own banner warns of delays and bugs in listings). A listing alone cannot distinguish a real test from a database duplicate, so the flash is logged as a watch signal — not as a tuning instruction.
Which sports channels left the satellite this week?
Two confirmed departures: Premier Sports 1 HD left Astra 2G (28.2°E, 11671.10 H) on October 16 — KingOfSat lists it as "no longer transmitted by satellite in Europe" — and Mir Basketbola left Yamal 402 (55°E, 12700.60 H) on October 10. The Movistar+ flash is not a confirmed departure; those services' real bouquet positions are unchanged.
Is it safe to enter a BISS key I saw posted online?
Only use keys provided by the broadcaster or your equipment maker for feeds you are authorized to receive. Entering keys to decrypt signals without authorization is unlawful in most countries, and 1BissKey never publishes invented keys — no officially issued sports-channel keys exist in this window.
Why does a sports channel scan in FTA and then go dark?
Services sometimes transmit unencrypted during testing and encrypt when the event starts or a rights window changes. A clear scan is a snapshot, not a promise — rescan close to the event and confirm the encryption column before relying on it.
