Telstar 12V PowerVu Update: 43 Feeds in the November 2 Bulletin
November 3, 2026 · The MTN Worldwide TV bouquet and the Anuvu feeds on Telstar 12V (15°W) — every PowerVu row, SID and beam, explained honestly.
Yesterday's satellite bulletin contains the biggest single PowerVu haul in weeks — and it is not a home-viewer bouquet at all. SatBeams' November 2, 2026 transponder bulletin lists 43 PowerVu rows on Telstar 12V (15°W): 33 newly listed services and 4 updated services on the MTN Worldwide TV transponder at 12681H, plus 6 updated PowerVu services on the Anuvu transponder at 12640H. Today's other 1BissKey posts covered the same bulletin in summary form; this article gives the PowerVu rows their first full, row-by-row treatment, with SIDs, PIDs and the beam warning that matters most: this is a professional maritime and aero bouquet on a Europe beam, not a package a home dish in Pakistan can open.
Quick answer
No new PowerVu row appears in today's November 3 window. SatBeams' November 3 bulletin contains exactly one row — Bolivia TV, updated, free-to-air, on Intelsat 35e (34°W) — and KingOfSat's Tuesday 3 November section contains no PowerVu entry at all (its rows are Sky, Al Jazeera, Hot Bird and 7°W departures and moves). The PowerVu news today is therefore yesterday's bulletin, properly read: a large MTN/Anuvu refresh on Telstar 12V. No PowerVu key is published in this article, because none appears in the bulletins — and for a professional bouquet like this, a typed key is not how reception works anyway.

What "new" and "updated" mean in a bulletin
Readers often misread bulletin language, so here is the honest version. "New" in SatBeams means a newly listed row on that transponder on that date — it does not necessarily mean a brand-new channel launch. A service can appear as "new" because it moved transponder, changed encoding, or was re-listed after a parameter change. "Updated" means an existing row changed — PIDs, encoding or another parameter. That is why the same service can appear twice in this bulletin: BBC HD is listed on both Telstar transponders below, once as MPEG-4 and once as MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), and BBC News / BBC World News share SID 106 with identical PIDs (5409/5410). Same fingerprint, different label — treat those as one service listed twice, not two channels.
Transponder 1: Telstar 12V, 12681H — MTN Worldwide TV (37 PowerVu rows)
Parameters: 12681H, symbol rate 30000, FEC 3/4, 8PSK, DVB-S2, beam 15W-Ku-Europe12V, package MTN Worldwide TV. All 37 PowerVu rows are standard definition. 33 are newly listed and 4 are updated. The transponder also carries one free-to-air row, MTN Info (SID 100, updated), which is the bouquet's own information channel — the only row on this transponder a home receiver can actually open.

| TVE | New | 118 | 4913 / 4914 | MPEG-4 AVC |
The mix tells the story of the bouquet: news (BBC, CNNi, Fox News, Bloomberg, France24, MSNOW, ABC News 24), sport (Sport24 and Sport24 Extra), documentary and lifestyle (BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle, NatGeo, Travel, HGTV, Food), film and entertainment (Brit Box, Colors, Prime Favorite, Prime Journey), plus regional services for the crew nationalities on board (CCTV4, Hunan, MetroTV, Rai Italia, TVE, Canal24H, TFC). MTN SE 101 and MTN SE 200 are MTN's own special-event channels. That is a crew-welfare and passenger-entertainment line-up, distributed to ships — which is exactly why it is PowerVu-encrypted rather than free-to-air.
Illustration: one bouquet, dozens of channels — the MTN line-up is distributed as a single professional package.
Transponder 2: Telstar 12V, 12640H — Anuvu (6 PowerVu rows)
Parameters: 12640H, symbol rate 11000, FEC 1/2, QPSK, DVB-S2, beam 15W-Ku-Europe12V, package Anuvu. All six rows are "updated" — the same services, re-listed with current parameters. Note the overlap with the MTN transponder: BBC HD, BBC News, Bloomberg TV, Fox News Channel, Prime One and CNN International Europe appear on both, with identical SIDs and PIDs on each. A receiver that lists both is seeing the same service twice, once per transponder, not twelve channels.
| Channel | Status | SID | Video / Audio PID | Resolution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BBC HD | Updated | 117 | 4657 / 4658 | HD, MPEG-4 |
| BBC News | Updated | 106 | 5409 / 5410 | SD, MPEG-4 |
| Bloomberg TV | Updated | 104 | 4641 / 4642 | SD, MPEG-4 |

| CNN International Europe | Updated | 123 | 4625 / 4626 | HD, MPEG-4 |
This transponder also carries one free-to-air row, MTNINFO (SID 100, newly listed) — again, the bouquet's own information channel, and the only open row on the transponder.
Beam honesty: can you receive Telstar 12V at 15°W?
Both transponders use the 15W-Ku-Europe12V beam. That is a Europe-facing Ku beam from an Atlantic slot at 15°W. For a home dish in Pakistan, the answer is plain: no. The satellite sits low on the western horizon, and the beam is not aimed at South Asia. Even a dish in Europe that can see 15°W will only find the two FTA rows (MTN Info / MTNINFO) open — the other 43 rows need MTN or Anuvu authorisation, which is arranged with the vessel or aircraft operator, not sold to home viewers. Do not buy a receiver, a "PowerVu key" or a subscription on the promise of opening this bouquet at home; there is no such product, and any seller claiming one cannot name the authorising party.
Illustration: Atlantic beams serve vessels crossing the ocean — the footprint, not the encryption, is the first barrier for home viewers.
November 3 bulletin check: no new PowerVu rows
For completeness, today's own window was checked before this article was written. SatBeams' November 3 bulletin lists a single row: Bolivia TV, updated, free-to-air, standard definition, on Intelsat 35e at 11079V. KingOfSat's Tuesday 3 November section lists Sky departures on Astra 1P/2F/2G, Al Jazeera departures on Es'hail 1 and Eutelsat 8 West B, 7°W departures, and Hot Bird frequency moves — and not one PowerVu entry anywhere on the page. So the Telstar 12V refresh above remains the latest PowerVu news, and there is nothing new to add to it today. That negative result is reported rather than padded with a recycled headline.
How this fits the wider PowerVu picture
The Telstar refresh does not change the other verified PowerVu landmarks: six new PowerVu listings on SES 18 (103°W) on October 14, 2026 (WSVN-TV, WWOR-TV, Bounce, CBC Toronto, Citytv Toronto, CTV Toronto on 3930V), and the PowerVu+ departures on SES 21 (131°W) on October 9, 2026. Together the three data points show where PowerVu actually lives in late 2026: professional distribution — North American broadcast affiliates on SES 18, and maritime/aero bouquets on Telstar 12V — not consumer packages. If a future bulletin shows a PowerVu row on a South Asia beam, that will be genuine news for this blog's readers; until then, PowerVu coverage here stays a professional-distribution tracker, not a home-reception guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watch the MTN bouquet on Telstar 12V from Pakistan?
No. The beam is Europe-facing from 15°W, and the services are PowerVu-encrypted for authorised vessels. Both barriers apply; removing one would not remove the other.
Why does BBC HD appear twice in the bulletin?
Because it is listed on both Telstar transponders — 12640H (Anuvu, HD MPEG-4) and 12681H (MTN, SD MPEG-4 AVC) — with the same SID 117 and PIDs 4657/4658. It is one service carried twice, not two channels.
Is there a PowerVu key for the MTN channels today?
No key appears in either bulletin, and for this kind of professional bouquet a typed key is not the access method in any case. Authorisation is arranged between MTN/Anuvu and the vessel operator. Any site selling a "Telstar MTN key" should be treated as unverified.
What can I actually receive on these transponders?
Only the FTA rows: MTN Info (SID 100) on 12681H and MTNINFO (SID 100) on 12640H, and only if your dish can see the Europe beam at 15°W. Everything else on both transponders is PowerVu-encrypted.
Did anything PowerVu change on November 3 itself?
No. The November 3 SatBeams bulletin has one FTA row and KingOfSat's November 3 section has no PowerVu entry. The Telstar refresh is dated November 2.
Where can I verify these rows myself?
SatBeams' dated transponder news pages (November 2 and November 3 bulletins linked below) list every row with its parameters, and KingOfSat's daily log corroborates the November 3 window.
