Dish Receiver Updates November 1, 2026: ME200628 Guide
One new receiver walkthrough surfaced today — and it is a procedure, not a single file. The ME200628-BLACK upgrade works in two steps, in a fixed order, and only on one exact hardware combination. Everything else we checked is unchanged, and this post says so plainly instead of dressing up a refreshed archive page as news.
Welcome to the 1BissKey daily receiver update for November 1, 2026. We checked the Enigma2 image list, the RTL-SDR news front page, the Tiger download listings and the MAST Dish Info site during this window (October 31, 5:00 PM to November 1, 5:00 PM PKT). The one item not covered before is a MAST Dish Info Layyah walkthrough for the ME200628-BLACK receiver. No new Enigma2 image, plugin or softcam appeared, no new RTL-SDR post appeared, and the Tiger listings still top out at October 23. No new keys are involved in any of this — this is receiver software news only.

The ME200628-BLACK Walkthrough: Two Files, One Order
The walkthrough comes from MAST Dish Info Layyah (engineer Mahar Mulazim Hussain Lohanch) and is titled "ME200628-BLACK HW203.00.017 New Software 2026 | PTV Sports HD OK | MP3/MP4 CARD". It is a tested procedure on the creator's own box, and its most important feature is not a menu or a signal display — it is the sequence. The Premium HD software is the second file. The first file is a downgrade, and the walkthrough applies it first, completes it, and only then installs the second file by USB.
Here are the receiver identifiers exactly as the walkthrough states them. All three must match your box before you consider step one — not one of them, not two, all three:
- Board marking: MP3/MP4 CARD
- Product name: ME200628-BLACK
- Hardware version: HW203.00.017
- Original software on the tested box: version 6939, dated 16 January 2020
The steps, exactly as demonstrated, are: (1) install the HW203.00.017 First File; (2) complete the downgrade process; (3) install the second Premium HD software via USB; (4) restart the receiver; (5) check PTV Sports HD reception. After the second file, the walkthrough shows PTV Sports HD working, a Premium HD menu interface, a signal indicator display and a zoom signal display.
What this walkthrough is — and what it is not
Be precise about the claim. The video description gives no new file date for either file, and the tested box's original software dates from January 2020. So this is a tested two-step procedure that surfaced this week, not a dated new firmware release, and it should not be reported as one. The "2026" in the video title is the creator's series label for the year, not a file date. If a page or repost elsewhere claims a fresh file date for these two files, ask to see it — the walkthrough itself does not supply one.
The same honesty rule applies to the rest of today's sweep. MAST's GX6605S HW203 and 1506HV archive pages were crawled again on November 1, but their contents are the older posts already covered here. A recent crawl date proves a page was seen recently; it does not make its software new. That distinction — crawl date versus file date — is the same one that caught the re-dated MediaStar page yesterday.
Before Step One: The Three-Identifier Check and a Backup
The creator's own warning, repeated here because it is the whole safety case for a two-file procedure, is: check your receiver's board marking, product name and hardware version before installing firmware, and save your original software backup before upgrading. A downgrade step makes that backup more important, not less — you are deliberately moving the box backwards first, and you want a way back to the software you started from.
- Open Menu > System Info (or the equivalent information screen) and write down all three identifiers character for character. ME200628-BLACK is not ME220908-BLACK — the two names differ, and yesterday's coverage of a mislabelled MediaStar page shows how easily similar model names get swapped.
- Back up your channel list to USB and photograph your current version screen before touching either file.
- Do not power off during either USB upgrade, and do not skip the first file on the assumption that the second file alone will work — the walkthrough does not demonstrate that path.
- If any identifier does not match, stop. A working box on the wrong file is worse than a working box on old software.
- This article hosts no download file for either step and vouches for no file hosted elsewhere. Use only the creator's own page, at your own risk, after the identifier check.
What Is Still Current Elsewhere
Enigma2 (checked November 1, 12:00 UTC). No change from October 31. The newest images remain OpenTS 12.6 and BlackHole 13.6, both dated October 26, followed by OpenPLi GCC-16.2 (October 12) and BlackHole 13.5 (October 2). The newest softcam remains OSCam 11968 (September 30) and the newest plugin remains Cloudflare WARP (October 23). If your Dreambox or Vu+ box already runs one of the October 26 images, nothing in today's sweep gives you a reason to reflash it.
RTL-SDR (checked November 1, 12:00 UTC). No new post since October 29. The newest items remain the SPECTER, SimTX, thermal-noise, SDRconnect guide, FalconSDR and OrcSDR v0.5.0-beta.1 posts, all covered in the October 29 and 30 receiver articles. Nothing from October 30, 31 or November 1 was found.
Tiger / Dish Download. The Editor Picks still top out at the October 23 trio — TIGER T66 FOREVER V1, RED TIGER T22 FOREVER and RED TIGER T22 VIP — covered on October 23. That is now nine days without a newer headline pick. The MAST Sunplus 1506 and 1507 loaders from October 30 remain the newest MAST tool pages we have verified in this slot.
Signal first, software second. If channels have stopped working, check the dish, LNB, cable and signal readings on a known-good channel before assuming software is at fault. Flashing will not fix a misaligned dish or a failed LNB, and a two-file procedure is the wrong first step for a signal problem.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ME200628-BLACK software new?
The walkthrough surfaced this week, but no new file date is given for either file in the video description, and the tested box's original software dates from January 2020. Treat it as a newly surfaced tested procedure, not as a dated new firmware release.
Can I install only the second Premium HD file?
The walkthrough does not demonstrate that path. It installs the HW203.00.017 First File downgrade first, completes it, and then installs the second file. Skipping a demonstrated step is an untested procedure on your box.
Which identifiers must match my receiver?
All three: board marking MP3/MP4 CARD, product name ME200628-BLACK, and hardware version HW203.00.017. If any one differs, do not use these files.
Why does the walkthrough start with a downgrade?
The creator presents the First File as the step that prepares the box for the Premium HD software. The walkthrough shows the sequence working in that order on the tested box; it does not explain the downgrade as optional, so do not treat it as optional.
Is there a new Enigma2 image or RTL-SDR post today?
No. Enigma2's newest images are still OpenTS 12.6 and BlackHole 13.6 (October 26), and RTL-SDR's newest posts are still dated October 29. Both were checked on November 1 at 12:00 UTC.
My channels stopped working — should I run this two-step upgrade?
Check signal strength and quality, the dish alignment, the LNB and the cable first. Most sudden channel losses are signal problems, and a two-file flash will not fix them — it only risks a working box.
