Organized by Satellite

Astra 2G, 28.2°E — Star channels move together

Star Plus HD, Star Gold HD and Colors Gujarati Cinema all shifted to 11523.00 H, SR 23000, FEC 2/3 (DVB-S2, VideoGuard) on October 29. If you lost these three channels at the same time, update this one transponder and rescan — all three sit on the same frequency with SIDs 7618, 7619 and 7620.

Hot Bird 13F, 13°E — one FTA arrival, one seasonal swap

TV5 Monde Info is the FTA highlight of this update: a new French-language news channel in the clear on 11784.70 H, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, SID 714. On the same satellite, Halloween Collection HD replaced Risate all'italiana HD on 12465.80 V (encrypted VideoGuard).

Eutelsat 21B, 21.6°E — eight departures in one day

The whole 10723.50 V package emptied on October 28: Disney Channel Russia, Animal Planet Eastern Europe, Investigation Discovery Russia, TLC Russia, Cartoonito Central & East Europe, Eurosport 1 HD Russia, Eurosport 2 North East Europe and Cartoon Network Central Europe all left. Viewers on this position should delete the dead entries and blind-scan rather than chase a single replacement frequency.

Eutelsat 5 West B, 5°W — two French arrivals

Figaro TV (11470.50 V, SID 3009) and Dog and Cat TV (11553.50 V, SID 306) both launched in Viaccess 4.0 on October 28; Dog and Cat TV then received a new SID (320) on the same transponder on October 29 — if it vanished a day after appearing, update the SID, not the frequency.

Eutelsat 16D, 16°E — reality TV and a slot swap

Big Brother VIP Kosova 1 and 2 launched in Conax on 10887.00 H on October 28, while on 10762.50 H, Vixen HD took over the SID 1260 slot vacated by X1 on October 29.

TurkmenÄlem / MonacoSat, 52°E — three exits

Datis TV, Arax TV and Royal TV all left 10887.10 V on October 29. Viewers in Pakistan and the wider 52°E footprint who watched these Farsi-language channels will need to look for their new homes in a future update — none was announced in this window.

Eutelsat 8 West B, 8°W — FTA return

FR HD is broadcasting in the clear again on 11137.30 V, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, SID 7315. It is the second FTA pick of this update alongside TV5 Monde Info.

Belintersat 1, 51.5°E; Astra 3C, 23.5°E; Badr 8, 26°E; Express AM44, 11°W

Teatr and Match Planeta appeared in DRE-Crypt on Belintersat 1 (11290.00 H, SR 45000). On Astra 3C, Cinemax 2 Europe and RTRS moved from clear to encrypted (Conax & Nagravision 3) on 12480.10 V — a reminder that "channel still listed" does not mean "still free". Sudan TV left Badr 8 (11842.30 H), and Perviy Kanal left the C-band transponder 3662.00 R on Express AM44.

Industry Note: Arabsat and Es'hailSat Partner at 26°E

On October 29, 2026, Arabsat and Es'hailSat signed a strategic partnership during the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Hammamet, Tunisia. The agreement aims to reinforce the 26°E orbital position as the regional satellite broadcasting hub, add channels and expand the Unified Arab Bouquet's global reach. For viewers, the practical effect to watch is more channel activity around Badr/Es'hail at 25.5–26°E in the coming weeks.

FTA Picks of This Update

• TV5 Monde Info — Hot Bird 13F, 11784.70 H, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, SID 714 (French news, FTA).
• FR HD — Eutelsat 8 West B, 11137.30 V, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, SID 7315 (FTA).

Both are genuinely free-to-air as published. Everything else new in this window is encrypted (VideoGuard, Conax, Viaccess 4.0 or DRE-Crypt) and needs a valid subscription — no free key is claimed for any of them.

Tuning Tips: How to Apply These Changes

1. Update, don't just rescan: for moved channels (Star trio, Dog and Cat TV SID), edit the transponder or SID manually, then rescan that transponder only — a full blind scan can duplicate dead entries.
2. Delete departed channels first: the 15 departed channels above will otherwise sit in your list as black screens, especially the eight Eutelsat 21B entries.
3. Check the encryption flag: Cinemax 2 Europe and RTRS are still on the same frequency but are no longer free — a "scrambled" message after October 28 is expected, not a dish fault.
4. Verify signal before re-aligning the dish: a single channel disappearing while its neighbours on the same transponder work is a frequency/SID change, not an alignment problem.
5. Use the exact parameters: symbol rate and FEC matter as much as frequency — e.g. Belintersat 1's 11290 H uses SR 45000, which older receivers may not lock without a DVB-S2 tuner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Star Plus HD, Star Gold HD and Colors Gujarati Cinema disappear together?

Because all three moved to the same new transponder — Astra 2G 11523.00 H, SR 23000, FEC 2/3 — on October 29, 2026. Update that one frequency and rescan it to restore all three.

Which new channels in this update are free-to-air?

TV5 Monde Info on Hot Bird 13F and FR HD on Eutelsat 8 West B. All other new arrivals in this window are encrypted.

Why did eight channels vanish from Eutelsat 21B at once?

KingOfSat records all eight leaving 10723.50 V on October 28, 2026. A whole-package departure like this is a broadcaster/package decision, not a reception fault on your side.

Dog and Cat TV appeared and then disappeared — what happened?

It launched on Eutelsat 5 West B (11553.50 V, SID 306) on October 28 and received a new SID (320) on the same transponder on October 29. Update the SID rather than the frequency.

Are Cinemax 2 Europe and RTRS gone?

No — they are still on Astra 3C 12480.10 V but are now encrypted in Conax & Nagravision 3, so they need a valid subscription to view.

What should I do about the departed 52°E channels?

Delete Datis TV, Arax TV and Royal TV from 10887.10 V and watch future 1BissKey updates for any announced new frequency — none was published in this window.

Does this update include any BISS keys?

No. None of the 31 records in this window is a BISS-encrypted channel, and no key is published here. See the daily BISS Key update posts for keys.

How current are these frequencies?

They reflect KingOfSat's published changes for October 28–29, 2026, checked on October 30, 2026. Frequencies can change again without notice — always re-check KingOfSat or LyngSat before a dish visit.
